[1] The design is innovative, practical, and easy to maintain. This new design of the cabinet and alternator/engine placement is the result of many months of development and testing by our American engineer. It is quite novel and different from traditional generators. The canopy can be opened or removed easily for maintenance.
[2] ALTERNATOR: The ¡°Rare Earth¡± permanent magnet alternator requires no AVR or brushes. Permanent magnet alternators can start much higher inductive loads than co***rable wire wound alternators. With a 12kw permanent magnet alternator/generator you can start a 12kw induction motor. You would have to use a 25-30kw alternator/generator to start a 12kw induction motor with a wire wound alternator.
[3] ENGINE: The engine is made by Yanmar, it is a horizontal water cooled single cylinder diesel engine which is converted to operate on natural gas. Since it is designed as a diesel engine, all the components are much stronger than the components of a gasoline engine.
